Expansion resin, also known under the brand name Resina, is an advanced injection material specifically developed to stabilize sunken floors and foundations. The technique is based on injecting a two-component resin into the subsoil, which hardens and expands immediately after mixing. This expansion creates a controlled upward and lateral pressure that not only restores the structure to its original position but also compacts the soil beneath, improving its load-bearing capacity.

How does expansion resin…

The resin is injected under high pressure and with precision at predetermined points beneath the floor or foundation. Once the two components mix, a chemical reaction occurs causing the material to expand and harden. The expansion resin then fills cavities and strengthens the soil structure, creating a stable and supportive base.

During this process, the floor or foundation is monitored down to the millimeter to ensure the structure does not tilt or crack.

The advantage of this method is its durability. We have samples of our expansion resin that are more than 20 years old. Even after exposure to oxygen, water, and pressure, this resin shows no signs of wear or loss of load-bearing capacity.

Applications of expansion resin:
– Repair of sunken shallow foundations
– Floor correction of tilted or sunken concrete floors
– Reinforcement of empty or unstable zones beneath buildings or structures

Advantages:
– No excavation or demolition required
– Minimal disruption for residents or users
– Accurate monitoring during execution
– Immediately load-bearing after hardening
– Long service life and low maintenance
